Making videos
What does Opus 5.5 Video make?
Short motion-graphics videos — launch clips, explainers, social teasers, animated titles — from a written brief. Videos are 10, 15, 20 or 30 seconds in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.
How is the video made?
Claude writes a small animation program from your brief. Your browser runs it to play the video, and records it when you download. Because type is drawn by the browser rather than generated as pixels, text stays sharp.
How long does it take?
Usually one to three minutes for a new video or a change. You can leave the page; finished videos are listed in your account.
Can it use footage, photos or my logo file?
Not yet. Videos are built from type, shapes and color. Describe your logo's colors and wordmark and they can be recreated in that style.
Can I change one part of a video?
Yes. Under the player, describe one change — “make the intro faster”, “use blue instead of orange” — and the rest stays as it is. Each change is a new version; earlier versions stay in your account.
A video shows an error when it plays. What now?
Click “Repair this version for free”. Each version can be repaired once at no cost.
Is there sound?
No, videos are silent for now.
Credits and plans
What does each action cost?
A new video is 280 credits, a change is 80, and a download is 3 credits per second of video, charged once per version. New accounts get 340 credits once.
What if a generation fails?
Its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
Do credits roll over?
No. Each monthly renewal resets your balance to the plan's credits.
What is the difference between free and paid downloads?
Without a plan, downloads are 720p with a small watermark. On any paid plan they are 1080p without a watermark.
Who processes payments?
Waffo, our merchant of record. It handles your card details, receipts, sales tax and VAT. We never see your card number.
How do I cancel?
From your account page, at any time. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Downloads and use
What file do I get?
MP4 in Chrome, Edge and Safari; WebM in Firefox. The browser records the video as it plays, so a 20-second video takes about 20 seconds. Keep the tab open and visible while it records.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes, in ads, launches, social posts and product pages. You are responsible for having the rights to the names, logos and claims you include in your brief.
Which browsers work?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox.

No. It is an independent product that uses Claude models through a third-party API provider. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC.
What happens to my prompts?
They are stored with your videos in your account and sent to the model provider to write the animation. See the Privacy Policy.
