TUTORIAL
Your first Opus 5.5 video
About five minutes, most of it waiting. New accounts get 340 credits, which covers one video and its download.
1. Create an account
Open the studio and click Generate — you'll be asked to sign up with an email and password.
2. Write the brief
Answer four questions in one or two sentences: what is it, what should viewers remember, what should it look like, and what are the last words on screen?
Good: “Launch video for Lumen, a calm productivity app. Crisp serif type on warm off-white, one orange accent, a 3-2-1 countdown, ending on ‘Focus, finally.’”
Too vague: “Make a video for my app.”
3. Choose style, format and length
Motion for launches, Sketch for friendly brands, Explainer for how-it-works pieces. Pick 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 for where it will be posted. Start with 15 seconds; shorter videos feel tighter.
4. Generate
Click Generate (280 credits). It usually takes one to three minutes. You can leave the page — the video will be in your account. If it fails, the credits come back.
5. Change one thing at a time
Watch it through, then type one change under the player: “slow down the second scene”, “make the headline bigger”, “swap orange for teal”. Each change is 80 credits and creates a new version.
6. Download
Click Download (3 credits per second, once per version). The browser plays the video once while recording it, so keep the tab open. Paid plans get 1080p without a watermark; otherwise it's 720p with a small watermark.
